Flower Policy

As Mother Nature determines the seasonality of flowers and their regional availability, please note that the selection of flowers used for the bouquets will vary each week.
While specific flower types are not promised, a smile is ALWAYS guaranteed!

*** PLEASE READ: Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, our floral wholesale partners and channels are offering limited options.  Until further notice, Prosper Petals will offer the Designer's Choice selection for all Hand-tied Bouquets, Amazing Arrangements and Fresh-cut Flowers, subject to the availability of what is on hand.

The quality of your flowers will never be sacrificed. It is my personal passion to ensure you and/or recipient experience joy and happiness, with your flowers and experience with Prosper Petals.

Caring For Your Flowers:

1. Fresh cool water. To keep your flowers lasting as long as possible, provide them with fresh clean water at least every two days.

2. A clean vase. Just like humans can get sick from certain bacterias, so can your flowers. To help prevent this, make sure the vase is sparkling clean! Before your flowers get to you, I wash each container with dish soap and a bit of bleach.

3. A fresh cut. Flowers need a clean and freshly cut stem so the water can travel up, keeping them hydrated. Cutting about 1/2 inch off your stems every few days will ensure a longer life for your flowers.

4. Apples and bananas. While fruit is wonderful for humans, flowers and fruit don't mix. Keep your flowers in a separately from where you keep your fruit. There is real science to back this up!

Special note for your Hydrangeas: This flower drinks from the top. Spritz some water on the petals and watch the power of hydration boost overnight! Hydrangeas love a lot of water and can also benefit from steaming hot water. That's right, some like it hot! Ha!
